Handmade Annotation Markup Language (previously MibloMarkup)
@Kelimion's idea. --Miblo][Excuse the previous title ↑, 'twas
Currently the only pieces of data being parsed in the .html.md files are:
- title: A string which matches the YouTube video titles written by Casey, just without the leading "Handmade Hero Day ### - "
- videoId: YouTube-specific
That's it. In addition to this we have a free-form area traditionally reserved for "notes" where I've been manually writing sections for:
Both of these sections are referred to in the
description field, thus:
- (!quote ###)
- [see Resources, Handmade Dev], e.g. here @ 1:26:54
What I'd like to be able to do is to tag a description as being associated with a quote or a resource and have the parser generate the corresponding (entry in the) section as well as the text – e.g. (!quote 256) – in the description.
I'll now need to try out syntaxes to see what may be the most pleasant way to write all of this stuff. Once this is implemented, though, we should be at parity with the current system, with some nice streamlining of the workflow with regard to the quotes and resources.
