Per the reference (#47), we need the following Markdown extensions:

Glossary links
- Maybe it's just sufficient to recognize links that start with /glossary.
Editor's notes (only visible to education authors)
Fancy links to resources
- Needs description in addition to title and URL.

Table of contents will be a separate thing that's not actually part of the Markdown flow.
